My name is Michelle Vinay. I am a Model, Kindergarten Teacher, and beginner Yogi from the Bay Area, CA. For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with Depression and Anxiety, which have played a significant role in my health habits. Feeling a need for stability and a healthy living environment, I began on a personal quest to seek the answers I needed to make the best of Maktub (Arabic for "written," or "the way it's meant to be").
In my blog "Self-Health," I will be sharing my own personal journey towards mental, physical and spiritual health, the affects I have noticed these three things have on one another, and the ways I am seeking to find a healthy balance between them. My background in psychology and child development has helped guide me and given me insights into my own experiences, and the experiences and struggles I have observed in others. I will strive to highlight the importance of mental health, and how much it can be a driving force in our overall well-being. I hope that through what I share, I will be able to help my readers along their journey in some way.
